Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan
Batyr Amanov graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute in 2009 and received the qualification of geodesy engineer. From 2009 to 2012, he held various positions at the Department of Transport and Mechanization of the Turkmen Special Oil and Gas Construction Directorate under the State Concern “Turkmennebitgazgurlushyk”. From 2012–2013, he worked as a principal engineer at the Department of Capital Construction of the “Turkmengazakdyrysh” Association under the State Concern “Turkmengas”. He worked as a Chief specialist, and the acting Head of the pipeline construction department of State Concern “Turkmennebitgazgurlushyk” during the 2013–2017. From 2017 to 2018, he worked as a Deputy Director for capital construction at the «Turkmengazakdyrysh» Association under State Concern “Turkmengas”. In January 2018 he was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of SC “Turkmengas”, and then as the General Director of the Turkmenbashy Complex of Oil Refineries. From 2020 to 2023, he worked as the Chairman of the SC “Turkmengas” before being appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in May 2023.
