Managing Director of Eni Turkmenistan Limited
Giorgio was born in Civita Castellana, Italy on 8th of February. He speaks Italian, English and French. He has Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, post-graduation Master in Process Engineering, master’s Degree in Management Engineering. Giorgio has been appointed to the position of Managing Director of Eni Turkmenistan Limited since August 2024. He has joined Eni Group in 2006, beginning his career as Production Engineer in Algeria first and in HQ later, being part of a multidisciplinary Team in charge of exploring potential areas of improvement in different Eni’s operated Assets; From February 2011 Giorgio returned to operational roles covering several leadership positions in different Countries, including Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Italy, where he gained experience in the field of Production Operations, Maintenance and Logistics, delivering safe production targets and successful transformation projects in the field of Maintenance and Digitalization. In October 2019 he was appointed Deputy General Manager at the Nigerian Agip Oil Company JV and from December 2021 to July 2024 General Manager Operations in Kashagan project. In these Senior leadership roles, he significantly contributed in defining Company’s strategies and plans, developing alternative funding mechanisms and implementing innovative commercial practices in cooperation with Operators’ Business Partners.
