Turkmenistan supplied over 5 million tons of gasoline to Uzbekistan, including ECO-93

As of 1 September 2020, Turkmenistan exported 5.6 million liters of gasoline to Uzbekistan. Turkmenistan ranks third in terms of the volume of imported gasoline after Kazakhstan and Russia, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports citing to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

However, the story of Turkmen gasoline in Uzbekistan goes further. For the first time, this year, Turkmen gasoline of ECO-93 brand began to be exhibited at the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports. The supplier of products is Nara-Komfort Servis. According to the researches, when using ECO-93 gasoline, harmful emissions of sulfur oxide are reduced 50 times, nitrogen oxide – 5 times, carbon monoxide – 2 times, hydrocarbon – up to 20%.

It is worth to mention, ECO-93 gasoline from natural gas is in good demand abroad. According to the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, in January-August 2020, Turkmenistan exported over 143 thousand tons of synthetic gasoline produced from natural gas abroad. And customs officials of the Akhal province, from where the ECO-93 is exported, record the export of this fuel to Russia, Afghanistan, Georgia, Great Britain, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria and Denmark.

Experts say that synthetic gasoline ECO-93, which complies with the environmental standard Euro-5, is not only environmentally, but also car friendly. With regular refueling with ECO-93 gasoline, less carbon deposits form in the engine, which doubles its service life.

The gas chemical complex for production of synthetic gasoline from natural gas in the Akhal province of Turkmenistan became operational in 2019. It is designed for production of 600 thousand tons of synthetic gasoline per year.
