Ambassador Natalya Drozd took up the post of the Head of the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat on 9 July 2016. A career diplomat from Belarus, Ambassador Drozd was the first Ambassador of her country to Italy and concurrently to Malta (1998 – 2002). She was working for a long time at different positions in Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Belarus. Natalya Drozd represented Belarus in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and served as the Deputy Chairperson of the Commission. Ambassador Drozd also held the position of Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje (2005-2013).
