Sona Kerimova earned degree in chemical technology from Kazan National Research Technological University (Russia) in 2013. Sona Kerimova has been working at the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State Concern Turkmengas since September 2013. From September 2013 to November 2019, she worked as an engineer in the Gas Fields Development Department, from November 2019 to February 2020, a Category 1 Engineer in the Gas Chemical Complexes laboratory of the Gas Processing and Gas Chemical Complexes Department, from February 2021 to the present, she holds the position of the head of the Gas chemical complexes laboratory of the Gas Processing and Gas Chemical Complexes Department at Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas, State Concern "Turkmengas".
