Topic:

Jonathan Stern founded the Gas Research Programme at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies in 2003 having worked on energy and natural gas issues since the 1980s. He is honorary professor at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum & Mineral Law & Policy, University of Dundee; visiting professor at the Centre for Environmental Policy, Imperial College London. He has authored, edited and contributed to, many books and many articles on gas and LNG published over the past four decades. His most recent paper, Measurement, Reporting, and Verification of Methane Emissions from Natural Gas and LNG Trade: creating transparent and credible frameworks, was published by the OIES in 2022.
