Since June 2008 - Deputy General Director of CNPC International (Nile) Ltd.; since April 2009 - Deputy General Director and Chief Safety Inspector of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation (CNODC); since April 2014 – First Deputy General Director of CNPC Middle East; since January 2018 – CEO of CNPC Middle East. Since April 2020 - Vice President of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), and concurrently since March 2021 - is the President of PetroChina.
