Chris Freeman is Technical Director, Reservoir Engineering in GaffneyCline’s UK office. Chris Freeman is an international oil/Gas industry expert with 40 years' experience in the oil and gas upstream industry (12+ years with GaffneyCline) with the full range of knowledge and experience including asset evaluation, reserves evaluation, reservoir engineering, reservoir development, production and drilling engineering, economic evaluation, operations, commercial & financial and project management. He has a host of experience in both operator and consultancy roles including asset evaluation, operator business development, innovative finance (EBRD & mezzanine), commercial negotiations with other operators & NOCs/Governments, strategic business development, technical expert for lenders etc. He also has thirty years’ experience of Executive Management with roles including CEO (LOGIC) and various Directors. Recently he has been working on a range of Energy Transition / Carbon Management projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Cambridge and an MBA in Finance & International Business from Cass Business School in London. He is a member (Life) of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain, the Energy Institute and Institute of Physics.
