Saparmuradov Dzhumamurad was born on February 13, 1959 in the village of Beurme, Bakharden etrap, Akhal velayat. After graduating from high school, in 1976 he entered the Faculty of Biology and Geography of the Turkmen State University and in 1981 graduated from it with a degree in biology. After graduating from the university, he was sent to work at the Institute of Zoology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, began his career as a senior laboratory assistant in the ornithology laboratory of this Institute, then worked as a junior and senior researcher. In 1984-1988 without interruption from work was in graduate school and prepared a dissertation on the topic "Seasonal distribution and number of migratory birds in southern Turkmenistan." In 1992 he defended his dissertation and was awarded the title of Candidate of Biological Sciences by the Higher Attestation Commission of the USSR. In 1998 he was appointed head of the Vertebrates Laboratory of the newly established National Institute of Deserts, Flora and Fauna of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Turkmenistan, in 2006 he was appointed Deputy Director - Scientific Secretary of the same Institute. In 2007-2014 worked as Deputy Minister of Nature Protection of Turkmenistan, in 2014-2018. - at the National Institute of Deserts, Flora and Fauna of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Turkmenistan as the head of the biodiversity laboratory, deputy director. Since February 2019, he has been working as the head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan. He is the author of more than 100 scientific articles, participated in the preparation and publication of the 2nd (1999) and 3rd (2011) editions of the Red Book of Turkmenistan, Review of the state of biodiversity of Turkmenistan, etc.
