Guychgeldi Baygeldiyev began his career as a geological engineer at the Central Engineering and Technological Service of the Korpeje Drilling Operations Directorate after graduating from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute in 1998 with a degree in geological engineering. 1999-2009 – he held various positions at Korpeje Drilling Operations Directorate of S.C. “Turkmennebit”. 2009-2011 - Acting Deputy Director of the Central Engineering and Technological Service of Korpeje Drilling Operations Directorate of the S.C. "Turkmennebit". 2011-2012 - worked as an acting director of the Central Engineering and Technological Service of the first district of Korpeje Drilling Operations Department of the S.C. "Turkmennebit". 2012-2015 - held various senior positions at Korpeje Drilling Operations Directorate of S.C. “Turkmennebit”. 2015-2016 - Chief engineer of Korpeje Drilling Operations Directorate of S.C. “Turkmennebit”. 2016-2017 - Acting director of Korpeje Drilling Operations Directorate of S.C. “Turkmennebit”. 11 April 2017 - he was appointed as a deputy chairman of S.C. “Turkmennebit” by the decree of President of Turkmenistan. On February 2020 he was appointed as a chairman of S.C. “Turkmennebit” by the decree of President of Turkmenistan.
