Topic: Technological Innovations, and the Role of Human Capital in Delivering Clean and Affordable Energy

In 1971, Rahmanguly Esadulayev successfully graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Technology and Complex Mechanization of Oil and gas Fields Development. In 1972, he entered the postgraduate course of the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute. In 1975, after graduating from a postgraduate course, he joined the integrated research department of the Institute "VNIPI Gaz" in Turkmenistan, where he held various positions, including Deputy Director for Science. In 1979 he received the degree of Candidate of Sciences and in 1994 — Doctor. Since 1975, he has led the development projects of such large mines as Dovletabat, Shatlyk, Malay, East Eloten-Osman. For many years, he headed the state examination commission for the defense of diploma projects of the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute. In 2010, according to the Charter of the Academy, on the basis of elections, he was elected to the post of head of the Department of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geology and Technical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, scientific Secretary and corresponding member in the speciality "Development of mineral resources". He has published more than 200 scientific papers, including more than 30 patents, 2 monographs and a book. In 1986, he was awarded the medal "Excellent Worker of the Gas Industry of the USSR", and in 2009 he was awarded the honorary titles "Honored Worker of Industry of Turkmenistan" and "Veteran of Labor".
