Topic: Delivering the Energy Needs of Today while Investing in the Energy Systems of Tomorrow: Oil and Petrochemicals

Sharifa Khudobakhsh began her career in 1993, taking up the position of assistant of the Department of Natural Sciences at the Khorog State University named after M. Nazarshoev. From 1998 to 2000, she was a senior lecturer at the same department. In the period from 2000 to 2004, she studied in graduate school and worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan. Since 2004, she has consistently held the positions of researcher, senior researcher and Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences at the Institute of Geology. From 2006 to 2013, she headed the Department of International Relations in the Main Department of Geology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. From 2013 to 2019, she served as Deputy Head of the State Supervision Service for the Safe Conduct of Work in Industry and Mining Supervision under the Government of Tajikistan. Since January 2019, he has been Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan. He has degrees in mining and geophysics, Planting and Doctor of Petrology and Petrophysics and a diploma in risk management.
