Eric Darner is Managing Director, S&P Global Energy Transition and Clean Tech Consulting, where he helps clients invest in and set strategy for the energy transition. Erik has 15 years experience working across the energy value chain for a wide range of clients leading complex strategy and large capital decision making engagements With a background in Economics, Strategy and Finance, Erik’s focus and primary expertise lies in M&A, transactions and valuation support, commercial/technical due-diligence, portfolio management, capital decisions, probabilistic modelling, and corporate/investment growth strategies. Prior to S&P Global, Erik gained valuable project experience in Management consulting (BCG), Investment Banking (Greenhill & Co.) Automotive (Michelin), Chemicals (Akzo Nobel), and Capital Markets (NASDAQ). Erik holds a BSc in Economics & Management from London School of Economics, and a MSc in Business Management from London Business School.
