CEO and Chairman of the Board, TAPI Pipeline Company Limited
Muhammetmyrat Amanov has been the CEO of TAPI Pipeline Company Limited since May 2016. He previously spent 8 years working in various positions at SC “Turkmengaz” including the post of Deputy Chairman from 2012 to 2016. During his working time at SC “Turkmengaz”, Muhammetmyrat Amanov was responsible for the development and construction of over 3,000 km of gas pipelines (the largest of them being the 56” 800-km East-West pipeline) across Turkmenistan and was also in charge of the development of stage 1 of the Galkynysh gas field in various roles including Head of Production and Technical Department and Deputy Director for Construction. He holds an Engineering, Economics and Management degree from Turkmen Polytechnic Institute. He began his career at Halkbank from which he moved to SC “Turkmennebitgazgurlushyk” as head of production planning.
