Mr. Zubari graduated in Petroleum Engineering from University of Texas at Austin (1986). He has over 35 years of experience in the oil, gas and energy. He started his career in 1986 as a reservoir simulation engineer at the Bahrain Petroleum Company and advanced to Deputy CEO for Tatweer Petroleum in 2013 and the Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Oil in 2017. Hesham’s experience is enriched by working closely with several CEOs and Ministers throughout his career. He is the SPE 2022-23 Regional Director for MENA Region on the SPE-International Board of Directors. He has authored and co-authored over 10 technical papers and has chaired and co-chaired several SPE and AAPG events. He has a number of interviews and articles published in reputable international publications such as Forbes and MEES on the future of the oil, gas and energy industries. Mr. Zubari is the recipient of the 2021 SPE Regional Award for his services to the oil and gas community.
