Vice President Export Sales, Thales Alenia Space
Eric Imbert is Vice President Export Sales at Thales Alenia Space (TAS). He has been with TAS since 2010. He joined Thales in 2003 as Managing Director of the Group subsidiary in Singapore and in 2005 became President of Thales in China. Before joining industry, Eric Imbert was with the French Ministry of Defence in the Corps of Armament Engineers : from 1997 to 2003, he was the Director of the Office of Defence Cooperation for ASEAN countries (based in Bangkok and Singapore). Prior to that, he held several positions : from managing defence programs to being advisor to the DGA (Délégué Général pour l’Armement) for international cooperation. Eric Imbert graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 1985 and École nationale supérieure de techniques avancées (ENSTA) in 1989. He also followed the International Security Programme for Senior Executives in 1994 at Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
