Vitaly Bakshaev, having graduated with honors in 1985 from the Moscow Hydromeliorative Institute, started his scientific career as a junior researcher in the Laboratory of Hydraulics and Hydraulic Structures at the Turkmen Research Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation. In 1987, Vitaly Bakshaev entered the postgraduate program at the Kharkiv “VNIIVodGeo”, where he researched the hydrodynamics of turbulent stratified water flow on the example of the Karakum canal. From 1992 to 2010 Vitaly Bakshaev devoted himself to teaching activities, passing his knowledge and experience to the new generation of engineers and scientists in various educational institutions of different levels. In 2010, he moved to design work in Moscow “MostGeoCenter” and later in Ashgabat “TurkmenGeoCopri”, where he participated in the development and implementation of complex engineering projects, specializing in bridge structures. In 2022, Vitaly Bakshaev continued his career in science and education, becoming Head of Laboratory at the Department of Geology of the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas.
