Turkmenistan, Tatarstan Explore New Cooperation Directions in Ashgabat
The 10th meeting of the Turkmenistan–Tatarstan Joint Working Group on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation opened at the Ýyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat. A high-level delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan O. Korobchenko arrived in Turkmenistan to participate.
Relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation are strategic in nature, based on deep historical, cultural and linguistic ties. This dialogue is actively supported at the highest level and implemented through an effective mechanism – the Turkmenistan–Tatarstan Joint Working Group.
The meeting agenda focused on reviewing the practical implementation of previously reached agreements and exploring promising areas of the steadily developing cooperation.
