Evgeniya Maiburova is a Principal Analyst specializing in the analysis and modelling of upstream oil and gas emissions across the Middle East, CIS, and Indian subcontinent. In her role, she enhances the quality of critical emissions data through rigorous research, historical analysis, and future projections. Prior to joining S&P Global in 2022, Evgeniya spent seven years at Gazprom Neft, a leading Russian integrated oil and gas company. As a Senior Analyst in the upstream exploration division, she developed exploration strategies, evaluated the feasibility of major oil and gas projects, and identified growth opportunities through new licenses and M&A activities. Evgeniya holds a Master of Science in Energy Transition Systems and Technologies from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) and a degree in Management of Chemical and Petrochemical Enterprises from St. Petersburg State Technological University (Russia).
