TURKMENISTAN'S VISION FOR THE FUTURE OF REGIONAL AND GLOBAL ENERGY COOPERATION Guvanch Velinazarovich Agajanov is Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. He began his professional career in 2003 as an Assistant Driller with the Oil and Gas Exploration Expedition of the State Corporation “Turkmengeologiya”. In 2004, he joined the Ministry of Oil and Gas and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan, where he served as Chief Specialist until 2007. From 2007 to 2016, he held various positions at the State Agency for the Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources under the President of Turkmenistan. He subsequently served in various positions at the State Concern “Turkmengas” and was appointed its Deputy Chairman in January 2019. In September 2021, he became Deputy Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, and in April 2022 was appointed Chairman of the Concern. On 13 February 2026, by Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. Mr. Agajanov graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute in 2002 with a degree in “Development and Exploitation of Oil and Gas Fields” and the qualification of Mining Engineer.
