Amanov Berdimyrat graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute in 1994 with a degree in “oil and gas well drilling”. From 1994 to 2020, he worked in various positions in his field of expertise at several institutions and enterprises under the Turkmengaz State Concern, including in the management structure. On January 20, 2020, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Turkmengaz State Concern and worked as Deputy Chairman of the Concern until July 9, 2026. On July 10, 2026, by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, he was appointed Chairman of the Turkmengeology State Corporation.
