General Director, CNPC International Ltd. in Turkmenistan
Du Yuming is an experienced oil and gas executive with an extensive career spanning senior leadership, exploration and development, business development, and international petroleum operations across Central Asia and Russia. He has served as General Director of CNPC International Ltd. in Turkmenistan since November 2024, having previously held the positions of First Deputy General Director in Turkmenistan and Deputy General Director in Russia. His professional career with CNPC International Ltd. includes a range of senior technical and managerial roles. From 2010 to 2018, he served as Director of the Exploration and Development Department in Russia, following his tenure as Deputy Director of the Business Development Department from 2008 to 2010. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions with CNPC-affiliated operations in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, including Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of the Hader Company, Deputy General Director of the North Buzachi Company, and Project Director in Kyrgyzstan. He began his career with CNPC-Aktobemunaigas in Kazakhstan, where he served as Deputy Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer. Du Yuming holds a bachelor's degree from Jianghan Petroleum Institute and has advanced academic qualifications in oilfield development, including a doctorate in the field.
