Director of Business Development at XRG (ADNOC)
Abdulla Alshamsi is the Director of Business Development at XRG (ADNOC). In previous roles, Alshamsi was Assistant Undersecretary, Industry Growth, at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) and Senior Vice President of Upstream Projects at ADNOC. He has also worked at Mubadala Investment Company, where he managed oil and gas investments, strategy and assets, and at Shell where he held several positions in engineering and economic analysis in the Netherlands, the UK and Oman. Alshamsi is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with a Master’s degree of Public Administration in Economics and Economic Policies from Columbia University, New York, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University, Canada.
