The "Lebapgazchykarysh" Department of the State Concern "Turkmengas" produced more than 10.9 billion cubic metres of natural gas in 2023, which is more than 1 billion more than planned.
The plan for natural gas production in 2023 was fulfilled by 110.5 percent, said Berdy Berdymetov, Head of the central production and dispatching service of the "Lebapgazchykarysh" Department of the SC "Turkmengas".
Over 39.1 thousand tonnes of gas condensate was produced by "Lebapgazchykarysh" management during the reporting period.
Over 6.4 billion cubic metres of natural gas was transported through the Malay-Bagtyyarlyk gas pipeline during the corresponding period, which exceeds the planned indicators by 158 per cent.
In 2024, the specialists of the department plan to produce more than 10.3 billion cubic metres of natural gas.
