President of Turkmenistan Welcomes New Ambassadors From Uzbekistan and Armenia

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met in Ashgabat on Friday with the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Armenia, who presented their credentials to the head of state, as reported by official media of Turkmenistan.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshanbek Alimov conveyed warm greetings from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and expressed the high honor of representing his country in Turkmenistan. He emphasized the bonds of friendship and shared cultural and historical values between the two nations and expressed confidence in further strengthening bilateral relations. The diplomat congratulated Turkmenistan on the 29th anniversary of its permanent neutrality status and wished the country peace and prosperity.
