Turkmenistan delegation participates in Tashkent International Investment Forum

From June 9-11, 2025, a delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, N. Atagulyyev, made a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum. The forum was attended by heads of state and government from several countries, including Bulgaria, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan, as well as leaders of various foreign companies and media representatives. Among the high-profile guests were also the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Renaud-Basso, and the President of the New Development Bank, Dilma Rousseff. A key event of the forum was the First National Exhibition of Uzbekistan's Industrial and Investment Potential. The exhibition showcased over 90 leading domestic companies operating in petrochemicals, mechanical engineering, construction, food processing, and other sectors. In his speech, N. Atagulyyev noted that the Tashkent International Investment Forum serves as an important platform for exploring business opportunities in Uzbekistan, implementing projects based on logistics system development, establishing cooperation with business and government circles, and accessing Central Asian markets. As part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum program, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, N. Atagulyyev. They discussed current issues concerning the further development of Turkmen-Uzbek relations of friendship, good-neighborliness, and deepened strategic partnership. During the visit, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, N. Atagulyyev, also met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Khodjaev.v
