U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Turkmenistan supports american companies at OGT 2026 conference
U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Turkmenistan Christine Hawkins expressed support for American companies at the 31st International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan» (OGT 2026), the country's largest energy event, the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan reported. Christine Hawkins spoke at a roundtable dedicated to future energy industry leaders. The diplomat highlighted the opportunities that U.S. companies offer to Turkmenistan's energy sector, including advanced technologies, modern standards, and professional workforce training. In addition, the Chargé d'Affaires met with representatives of American companies participating in the 31st International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan» (OGT 2026) and learned about their activities. The Embassy noted that expanding energy, trade, and economic cooperation serves the interests of both the American and Turkmen peoples. Gratitude was expressed to the event organizers — the State concerns «Türkmennebit» and «Türkmengaz», the State corporation «Türkmengeologiýa» and the «Turkmen Energy Forum».
